Getting started

Signing in with OTP

Sign in with your registered mobile number and a one-time password. No password to remember.

Who it is for:Everyone

Only mobile numbers registered by the Railway can sign in. Railway staff are registered by their Divisional Admin; siding owners are given a login by the Commercial branch when their siding is onboarded.

To sign in

  1. 1Open the sign-in page and choose Railway staff or Siding owner.
  2. 2Enter your 10-digit mobile number (without +91) and press Send OTP.
  3. 3Enter the 6-digit OTP received by SMS and press Verify and sign in.
  4. 4Staff land on the Dashboard; siding owners land on their portal Overview.

Good to know

  • The OTP is valid until 11:59 PM (IST) on the day it is sent. If it has not arrived, wait 30 seconds and press Resend OTP; the same OTP is sent again.
  • After 3 wrong tries the OTP is blocked; request a new one. After repeated blocked OTPs in one day, signing in is stopped until the next day.
  • For your security you are signed out after 30 minutes without activity, and in any case 8 hours after signing in. Sign in again to continue; you are taken back to the page you asked for.
  • To sign out, open the menu under your name (top right) and choose Sign out.
Never share your OTP
Railway staff and the helpdesk will never ask for your OTP. If someone asks for it, do not give it, and tell the helpdesk.
Changed your mobile number? Staff: ask your Divisional Admin to update it. Siding owners: contact the Commercial branch, Sealdah.
Getting started

Verifying a bill is genuine

Anyone can check that a bill was really issued by Eastern Railway before paying it. No sign-in needed.

Who it is for:Everyone
  1. 1Scan the Scan to verify QR code at the top right of the bill with a phone camera, or open the Verify a bill page.
  2. 2If typing, enter the Bill No. exactly as printed (for example SDH/SC/26-27/001) and press Verify. Spaces and capital letters do not matter.
  3. 3Compare the amount, bill date, due date and status shown with your copy of the bill.
